On March 4th, in the NBA regular season, the Clippers narrowly defeated the Timberwolves 89-88 on the road. After the game, Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard discussed the topic of his teammates James Harden and Paul George struggling with their shooting.
"Sometimes, it might be me who's having an off night, or it could be someone else. But I just try to play the same game, rather than solely trying to find my own rhythm, because that could turn into hero ball. We've been moving the ball well, which is great, especially against a formidable opponent like the Timberwolves," Leonard said.
In this game, Leonard started and played 38 minutes, making 12 out of 26 field goals, 1 out of 4 three-point attempts, and 7 out of 8 free throws, scoring 32 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, dishing out 1 assist, making 2 steals, and blocking 1 shot.
Harden started and played 34 minutes, going 0 for 10 from the field, 0 for 6 from three-point range, and making all 4 of his free throws, scoring 4 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, providing 10 assists, making 1 steal, and blocking 2 shots.
George started and played 34 minutes, making 5 out of 16 field goals, 3 out of 11 three-point attempts, and 2 out of 3 free throws, scoring 15 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, providing 1 assist, making 1 steal, and blocking 1 shot. |
