Once leading Real Madrid to miracles, achieving three consecutive Champions League victories, legendary coach Zinedine Zidane has been idle at home since voluntarily resigning. Despite numerous coaching offers, recent events suggest a change. Perhaps rested enough or sensing the right timing, the young yet legendary coach seems poised to return to coaching!
Zidane, a legendary player in his own right, continued his legendary status as a coach. Despite lacking experience coaching other top-tier teams, he guided Real Madrid to an unprecedented Champions League three-peat and clinched the La Liga title after returning to the club. Ideally, Zidane should have continued coaching Real Madrid, but being one to cherish his own feathers, he chose to resign twice after leading the team to important championships, creating a legend of his own.
While resting at home, Zidane received numerous invitations. Many top clubs wanted him to coach their teams. Zidane repeatedly turned down lucrative offers from English Premier League teams, citing his lack of fluency in English. However, recent developments suggest a change. With several top clubs like Bayern Munich and Liverpool announcing their coaches' departures at the end of the season, these teams are seeking new coaches for the upcoming season. It is reported that Zidane actively inquired about Bayern Munich's situation, showing interest in coaching the team.
In addition to these two teams, Manchester United, currently with an unstable managerial position, is also seeking a new coach. It is said that the new owner of Manchester United, Ralf Rangnick, is a big fan of Zidane and considers him the ideal candidate to lead the team. However, the situation at Manchester United is complex, and Zidane, being one to cherish his feathers, is unlikely to choose to coach Manchester United. Nevertheless, the day we witness this young and legendary coach return to coaching may not be far off. |
