February 15th News: Today at 10 am, the Pistons played against the Suns on the road.
According to Shams Charania's report, Pistons player Isaiah Stewart punched Suns player DeAndre Ayton in the face in the player tunnel before the game, prompting the league to launch an investigation.
In response, Ayton, interviewed before the game, stated that the incident occurred when he had just arrived at the arena, still dressed in casual clothes. Ayton mentioned that apart from "basketball matters," there had never been any other issues between him and Stewart.
"Obviously, you can see what he did, his behavior on the court, so it's not surprising," Ayton said.
"There was an exchange of words between us, and I got punched, and security intervened," Ayton said. |
