February 14th, Today, the Lakers defeated the Pistons 125-111 at home and achieved two consecutive victories. After the game, Lakers forward Anthony Davis was interviewed on the sidelines.
Regarding the debut performance of Spencer Dinwiddie, Davis said, "In his first game, I told him that it was a high number of assists for him. I'd rather he score himself. We didn't sign him to keep passing. However, we will accept it. He's just trying to play the right way, and he's still trying to find his role on the team. But he came in and had 7 assists right away, completely embraced the ball movement culture, and then created some fantastic offensive and defensive plays for us. Having him is great, and hopefully, we can continue our success in the remaining time of the season."
In this game, Davis played 28 minutes, made 6 of 12 shots, scored 20 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and blocked 6 shots. |
