News on January 30th: Today, the Lakers lost 119-135 on the road against the Rockets. After the game, Lakers head coach Darnell Ham was interviewed.
Ham mentioned that in the fourth quarter, he was in a "dilemma" between bringing LeBron James and Anthony Davis back into the game to make a comeback and letting them rest.
"In the end, when you're down by 30 points, you have to play near-perfect basketball to finish the game," Ham said.
He stated that the decision on whether James and Davis will play in the back-to-back game tomorrow is still undecided. They will decide based on how they feel tomorrow morning.
Ham explained that Davis didn't play in the fourth quarter due to various reasons. Jackson Hays performed well, and they need to be cautious about Davis's groin issue that was aggravated during his previous appearance. |
