The South African batsman David Bedingham was full of admiration for Kane Williamson, who scored twin tons in the first Test between the two sides. David Bedingham admitted that they could improve their game by following Kane Williamson’s example. Kane Williamson became only the fifth Kiwi batsman to hit hundreds in both innings of a Test match. He led his team to a massive 281-run win in Mount Maunganui. However, his heroics were overshadowed by Rachin Ravindra’s 240, the highest score by a New Zealand debutant. In the post-match presentation, David Bedingham stressed the need to learn from Kane Williamson’s approach to boost their performance. Bedingham said that even a bit of Kane’s skill could make a huge difference for any player.
