Cricket Fan What a match! India U-19s have done it again! They have beaten South Africa U-19s by 2 wickets in a thrilling semi-final and reached their 9th U-19 World Cup final. They are on course to win their 5th title in a row. This team is unstoppable! South African U19s gave them a tough fight though. They batted first and posted a decent total of 244/7. Pretorius and Seletswane both scored fifties and took the attack to the Indian bowlers. Limbani was the pick of the bowlers for India with 3 wickets. Khan, Tiwari, and Pandey also chipped in with a wicket each. India U19s had a disastrous start to their chase. They lost 4 wickets for just 32 runs. Maphaka bowled a beauty to get rid of Adarsh Singh on the first ball. Luus then ran through the top order and dismissed Kulkarni, Khan, and Moliya cheaply. But then came the rescue act from Captain Saharan and Dhas. They put on a magnificent partnership of 171 runs for the 5th wicket. Dhas was the aggressor and smashed 96 runs off 95 balls with 11 fours and a six. Saharan played the anchor role and scored 81 runs off 124 balls. They took India close to the target but both fell in quick succession. India still needed 1 run to win with 2 overs left and 2 wickets in hand. Saharan was the last man out. But India managed to get over the line and seal the victory by 2 wickets. What a nerve-wracking finish! Who do you think will win the final? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
