Boycott blasts Bazball for England’s defeat in second Test

England’s batting legend Geoffrey Boycott criticised the Bazball strategy of the English team after their 106-run loss to India in the second Test at the Vizag Stadium.

England had won the first Test from behind and played well in the second Test too, but lost on the fourth day. In his column for The Telegraph, Boycott blamed Bazball for Joe Root’s failure in the India series. He said that Root is England’s best batsman and he wastes his wicket by attacking the bowlers.

Bazball made Root lose his wicket. He came in and tried to hit over the top and soon holed out. He only made 16.

The England batting great also said:

“It is good for the public and the media when Stokes says we can chase any target, and Cook can’t make this team. That is rubbish.

“Crawley and Duckett are doing fine and have a lot of time to improve. But they are not better than Cook, and he was right to say that his runs would have got him in this team. Runs are everything.”

I think Boycott is right , English batsman do not get panic and have patience against India's spin bowling attack

I think , England's batsman are more concerned about India's spin bowling and forget and play their natural game

Joe Root is a very talented player as well as  very good player against spin bowling ,as a  big  fan  of him I expect he will do better in rest of matches of test series against India
