India’s young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal, who idolises the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, shared his conversation with the master blaster after his splendid innings in the second Test against Australia. Jaiswal said he talked to Sachin after his match-winning knock. Jaiswal said that Sachin praised him and advised him to keep working hard as this is a crucial phase. Jaiswal said he still looks up to Sachin Tendulkar as his role model.Yashasvi Jaiswal regards Sachin Tendulkar as his role model Yashasvi Jaiswal told Sports18, “I have had a chat with Sachin sir. He complimented me and told me to keep working hard as this is a very important time. Consistency is very important. I’ll always look up to him as my role model.”

Jaiswal was the only Indian batsman who displayed his batting prowess on the pitch in the first innings. The rest of the batsmen fell for 20 to 40 runs and were out cheaply. Jaiswal’s contribution was vital for India’s first innings score of 396 runs, otherwise they would have been bowled out for less than 250 runs.
