News on January 29th: Today, the NBA officially released the referee report for the last two minutes of yesterday's crucial game, including overtime.
In the Lakers' victory over the Warriors, there were two missed calls in the final two minutes (including overtime), both benefiting the Warriors:
1. With 1 minute and 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter, a defensive three-second violation by Draymond Green was missed.
2. With 7.3 seconds left in the second overtime, a foul by Draymond Green on Jared Vanderbilt's offensive play was missed. Green, while screening, initiated body contact that displaced Vanderbilt.
Additionally, with 28.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter, a foul by Stephen Curry on Anthony Davis during a rebound attempt was correctly called, resulting in two free throws for the Lakers.
The jump ball at the center circle between both teams with 22.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter was correctly officiated.
With 4.2 seconds left in the first overtime, the slight contact by Green's right hand on LeBron James' face as he began to drive was correctly not called a foul.
With 1.2 seconds left in the second overtime, the foul by Green on James' driving layup attempt was correctly called. |
