What a lucky escape for Hartley! What do you think of this decision? Was it fair or not? Ashwin bowled a beauty of a carrom ball to Hartley who tried to reverse sweep it. The ball hit his arm and went to Rohit in the slips who took a good catch. The Indians went up in appeal and the umpire gave it out. But Hartley reviewed it and the replay showed that the ball had not touched his bat or glove, only his arm. So the catch was not out. But then the umpire also checked for LBW and the ball was hitting the stumps. But it was umpire's call on both impact and contact. So Hartley was not out again. The Indians were not happy and argued with the umpire. The umpire told them that he had given out for the catch, not the LBW. And since the LBW was umpire's call, the original decision of not out remained. The umpire also said that he had not given out for the LBW, which was why Hartley survived even though the ball tracker showed umpire's call. What are yours thoughts please share
