The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has taken a tough stand and refused to give NOCs (No Objection Certificates) to Pakistan players who want to play in foreign T20 leagues, according to Cricket Pakistan. Some Pakistan players are currently playing in the ILT20 and the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) 2024. The PCB is not budging from its decision even after the players begged them to reconsider. The ILT20 and the BPL are the two main leagues where most of the Pakistan players take part. Some of them also play in the BBL (Big Bash League) in Australia. PCB To Recall National Players For PSL 9 Insiders from the PCB say that many players asked for NOC extensions to cash in on the opportunities in these big leagues. But after a review, the board has denied the extensions and left some star players unhappy. The sudden rejection from the PCB has put the players in a fix. Even players who are not in the national team right now have been called back. The players can only play in foreign leagues until the PSL (Pakistan Super League) starts. The PSL 9 is supposed to start on February 17. But the franchise owners are not happy with the slow progress of work and are doubtful if the season will start on time.
