Zhao Changpeng advises cryptocurrency practitioners to focus more on the fundamentals of cryptocurrency technology rather than blindly chasing money. He points out:
"When the hype subsides, all the speculations will disappear, and what matters is the fundamentals. In our industry, because it's too easy to get access to money, many people get distracted, and their only concern is making money."
At Davos, Zhao Changpeng reiterated his belief that cryptocurrency, as a new payment system, still needs to develop gradually and cautiously. He firmly believes that the concept behind cryptocurrency technology will not be easily erased. He said:
"We actually need to move forward slowly, cautiously, and steadily, so as not to cause significant disruption. It's not about any particular cryptocurrency, blockchain, or exchange, but the foundational technology that is developing and will continue to evolve." |
