Samsung Asset Management (Hong Kong), the issuer of the Hong Kong cryptocurrency futures ETF, revealed by its ETF investment strategist, Xiao Peiling, that the company currently has futures-related products and is interested in spot products as well. Although they haven't ruled out the possibility, there is no update at the moment. Many banks have not distributed virtual currency futures ETFs, and even if a spot ETF is introduced, it may face related issues. However, Wang Zhuofeng, Managing Director of the Sales Department (Asia-Pacific) at Southern East Capital, another issuer of cryptocurrency futures ETFs, stated that operating ETFs with futures is simpler and avoids systemic risks. Operating ETFs with spot products involves higher risks in custody, counterparty transactions, and dependence. Currently, launching another similar product may not be cost-effective, and they will observe market demand before considering it.

If it's ambiguous, it's as good as not saying anything.
