January 22, News: In the NBA regular season, the Clippers won 125-114 against the Nets. After the game, Clippers forward Paul George talked about his teammate Russell Westbrook in an interview.
"Russell (Westbrook) represents intensity; he brings the same intensity to every game and every play." George said.
"In a game like today, when we're all performing flat and struggling to make shots, we need someone to bring additional energy to the team. Without a doubt, Russell is the one who can bring that extra boost." George added.
In the entire game, Westbrook came off the bench for 31 minutes, making 10 out of 16 field goal attempts, 1 out of 2 three-pointers, and 2 out of 4 free throws, scoring 23 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.
George started and played 36 minutes, making 5 out of 17 field goal attempts, 2 out of 7 three-pointers, scoring 12 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
