Veteran middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara became the fourth Indian batter to reach 20,000 runs in first-class cricket. During Saurashtra's Ranji Trophy match against Vidarbha in Nagpur, Pujara reached this significant milestone. In the game, Pujara performed admirably. He scored 43 in 105 balls during the first innings, including four boundaries and a six. He scored 10 boundaries and 66 runs in 137 balls later in the second innings. The match was won by Saurashtra by 238 runs.
