January 16th News: Today, after going through overtime, the Miami Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets 96-95.
The Nets shot 12 out of 55 from three-point range, with a shooting percentage of 21.8%; the Heat made 8 out of 31 three-pointers, with a shooting percentage of 25.8%.
The Nets made 34 shots out of 100 attempts, with a shooting percentage of 34%; the Heat made 33 shots out of 87 attempts, with a shooting percentage of 37.9%.
After the game, a reporter asked Coach Spoelstra, "You always talk about winning those games that are like quicksand. What about today? Does today's game count?"
Spoelstra replied, "Today's game counts as a cement quicksand. If you watched our performance in the first half, it was really ugly to the extreme."
Everyone laughed, and the interview room was filled with a cheerful atmosphere. |
