Who declared dead rubbers uninteresting? or insignificant in any case? If anyone believed otherwise, Afghanistan and India amply demonstrated their errors. A double Super Over decided the winner in one of the most exciting T20I finishes ever. Yes, this is the first time in international cricket history. There was nothing separating the two teams despite both of them scoring 212 in the 20 overs allotted to them, and 16 more in the first Super Over of the match. A second Super Over had to be requested in order to break the impasse. After a dramatic and somewhat contentious turn of events, India held their composure in a T20I that will go down in history.
