After years of watching the odds, I have finally crystallized the essence of odds, including the handicap, odds movement, and popularity. Generally speaking, grasping these three core elements gives you a good handle on the outcome of a match. Of course, every method has its limitations, but understanding the core is the key. With six years of experience, I hope to provide guidance and prevent you from taking unnecessary detours.

Back when football lottery was first introduced, who would bother with odds? People would rely on the fame and strength of the teams, and many bets were based on intuition. Later, odds came into play, around 2005, and I began using odds to evaluate matches. At that time, there was virtually no theoretical knowledge about odds (looking back now, theoretical knowledge only elevates your understanding of odds), but gradually, information started appearing online. Today, there are many theories and practical methods for analyzing odds. Personally, I've taken many detours, as I believe most people have. However, I never gave up because I believe that any endeavor, with effort, will eventually yield positive results—hard work pays off.

Now, let's get to the point:

1. **Handicap ** It refers to the handicap offered. The significance of the handicap lies in whether it is suitable. (Trivia: Handicaps are classified as level handicap, handicap 0.5, handicap 1, handicap 1.5, etc., which are collectively considered shallow handicaps. Handicap 1, handicap 1.5, handicap 2, etc., are considered deep handicaps. Some also categorize handicap 0.5 as a deep handicap, but opinions differ.)

2. **Odds Movement ** It refers to the odds. Odds movements tell us the relative size of the odds for the over and under. (Trivia: Odds movements are classified as low odds, mid-low odds, medium odds, mid-high odds, and high odds. There are also ultra-low odds and ultra-high odds, even super-low odds and super-high odds. The divisions are as follows: Below 1.75 is considered ultra-low odds, 1.76–1.84 is low odds, 1.85–1.89 is mid-low odds, 1.90–1.92 is medium odds, 1.93–1.99 is mid-high odds, 2.00–2.06 is high odds, and above 2.06 is considered ultra-high odds.)

3. **Popularity :** It refers to the trend of odds movement when bets are placed. (Trivia: In general, the popularity displayed in the Asian handicap reflects the tactics of the bookmakers to block or lure bets. When it's hot, it's less likely to be released, and when it's cold, it's easier to release. 'Big favorites must die' follows this logic, but being a big favorite doesn't necessarily mean death; it depends on the rationality of reading the odds and water levels.)
