Legends of cricket Shahid Afridi and Waqar Younis took aim at a Pakistani new channel and its reporters following the release of an alleged WhatsApp exchange between the channel and Pakistani captain Babar Azam. According to reports, Babar and Salman Naseer, the chief operating officer of PCB, are having conversations. This comes after former cricket player Rashid Latif asserted that Zaka Ashraf, the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), had stopped returning calls from the captain of Pakistan. Pakistani cricket is already going through a difficult period; after winning just two of their first six matches, the team is currently ranked sixth in the world cup.
