According to an anonymous source, the cryptocurrency asset management company Grayscale Investments is in negotiations with JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, among other firms, aiming to play a crucial role in its proposed Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). Both companies are considered authorized participants, meaning they have the authority to create and redeem shares of the fund. BlackRock had previously designated JPMorgan Securities and Jane Street Capital as authorized participants for its proposed Bitcoin ETF. Earlier reports from CoinDesk suggested that Goldman Sachs is also in talks with Grayscale and BlackRock.
