Golden Entertainment company plans to use the proceeds from a recently approved deal with Oaktree Capital Management to improve its existing properties. Last week, the company received approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission to sell its slot machine business to Oaktree and agreed to proceed with the transaction. Officials stated that this acquisition was initiated by Oaktree's affiliated company, J&J Investment Corporation.

Earlier this year, the company announced changes to the dining options in Gold Town, including the introduction of locally sourced farm-to-table kitchens and popular dining experiences. The proceeds from this transaction will be utilized for reforming various aspects of the business.

Golden Entertainment's business foundation is solid, as the company will continue to support J&J Investment Corporation's operation of Golden's brand pubs in Nevada, reflecting the acquirer's high level of trust in Golden Entertainment.

Simultaneously, the additional proceeds from this transaction will be used to enhance some of the company's casinos and operations, including the Arizona Charlie's restaurant, the Fen Dastarat electric guitar, and the gaming hotel near Laughlin.

The plan starts with improving gaming operations in Pahrump and introducing more dining options. The funds will be utilized to enhance the competitiveness of the venues and attract more customers.

Situated just 58 miles from the famous Las Vegas Strip, Pahrump attracts a significant flow of visitors, especially those unwilling to venture into the bustling casino centers of Nevada.

In contrast, Pahrump offers a more relaxed yet equally entertaining experience, which is precisely what Golden Entertainment aims to capitalize on. This sentiment is reflected in several well-known properties owned by the company, including Lakeside Hotel and Casino, Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino, and the equally significant Golden Casino.

Despite Pahrump's relatively small population of only 40,000, its location at the foothills of Death Valley National Park and the Spring Mountains makes it a not uncommon destination for tourists. The region's gambling reputation has steadily risen, especially thanks to the continuous and long-term efforts of Golden Entertainment, setting it apart.
