The 'Smiling Method' is a modified version based on an English betting system. The improved method is evidently superior to the original, but its long-term effectiveness requires computer verification. Before extensive data testing, it is advisable to use this method for light and cautious betting, refraining from aggressive wagers.

The advantages of this method lie in its simplicity, easy memorization, and ease of use. It requires minimal capital (only five chips are needed to start), with a maximum loss of five bets in a round. However, during a lucky streak, one can win up to twenty bets.

Mnemonic: Follow Banker on Banker, follow Player on Player, follow the pattern on the pattern. Stop after three losses, win six after five losses, and stop at five-five.

1. Do not place a bet on the first hand. If the first hand results in a Banker win, follow by betting on Banker until it loses. If the first hand results in a Player win, follow by betting on Player until it loses. Do not bet on a Tie, and do not consider Ties.

2. If following Banker or Player results in two consecutive losses, switch to following the 'pattern' (betting opposite of the previous hand). Continue until the pattern loses, then switch back to following Banker or Player. If the pattern loses in a Banker streak, switch to following Banker; if it loses in a Player streak, switch to following Player.

3. If there are three consecutive losses, temporarily stop betting. During the pause, continue virtual betting mentally until two consecutive virtual wins are achieved, then resume actual betting.

4. If three hands are lost consecutively, a temporary pause is required. Continue virtual betting in the mind until two consecutive virtual wins, then resume real betting.

5. The stop-loss point is at five bets. If accumulated losses reach five bets, leave the table decisively. The stop-win point is at six bets. If accumulated wins reach six bets, one should ideally stop playing the round. Exceptions apply: if the stop-win point is reached while on a winning streak, continue betting until one loss occurs before stopping. If profits exceed the stop-win point by four bets (ten bets in total) or more, continue betting until two consecutive losses occur before stopping. If profits exceed the stop-win point by six bets (twelve bets in total) or more, continue betting until three losses occur after reaching the high point before stopping.

6. If a shoe consists of eight decks, the stopping point is at the fifty-fifth hand. When reaching the fifty-fifth hand, if in a losing or tied state, stop immediately. If in a winning streak, continue betting until one loss occurs before stopping.
