I wrote this text today to organize my thoughts about gambling. I wonder if it's right? I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts.We all love gambling. Isn't that true? We gather on this forum to candidly share our gambling experiences and insights. We often share our gambling stories, describing the process of battling the house, not just for the thrill of it, but also to sustain the forum, to find emotional solace. Without this forum, we have no outlet for our emotions, nowhere to seek solace. We have a deep affection for gambling, and it's something we can't do without. We think about it every day, and as soon as we have some free time, we want to open our computers or smartphones, find the website, log in, and start playing. Many times, we intend to play a few rounds and stop, but once we start, we continue playing, sometimes for hours, or even six to seven hours. All because of that one word: "liking." We all want to make money. Isn't that true? When we gamble, we are drawn to the beauty of it. Its beauty lies in the excitement it brings, the anticipation of an unknown outcome; in the money it offers, something everyone needs, always wishing for more; in the inexplicable self-confidence it provides, the belief that after some effort, one can become wealthy, at the very least achieve financial freedom. This beauty penetrates our hearts, touching our souls, making us unable to resist. Every day we gamble, fueled by this beauty, this temptation, progressing toward a set goal. Although each person's abilities vary, and their goals may differ in size, they all want to move forward, go a bit further because there is sustenance, light, and hope in the distance.We all pursue a foolproof strategy. Isn't that true? When there's a battle, who among us doesn't want to be the victorious party? The winner is king. Only by winning can we get the spoils, get what we want, and help us get more. Initially, we always want to win, and we may actually win a few times purely by luck. But as we engage in more battles, we realize we're not gaining an upper hand; we're going downhill. So, we quickly study foolproof strategies, use what we call these strategies, and find they help us (we win quite a bit for a time) but ultimately harm us (we keep playing and eventually lose not only our profits but our initial stake as well).We must recognize the reality, firmly believing that there's no foolproof strategy. Isn't that true? After losing a few times, we often think it's our strategy that's at fault. So, we scour the forum, searching for clever tactics (betting systems or strategies), then use them, make some profits, and ultimately trap ourselves (continuing to bet even when losing and eventually giving everything, including our profits, to the house).We can only adjust our mindset and seek self-transcendence. Isn't that true? Since we've realized that there's no foolproof strategy, we must return to the basics, relying on our hearts. The lack of foolproof strategies means that no one can become rich by gambling; gambling can only be for entertainment. It also means that casinos can continue to exist. We need to find legitimate work to support ourselves and our families. It also means that when we play, we must be cautious and prudent. Once we experience a losing streak or feel that bad luck is looming, we should cut our losses promptly. Often, we emotionally want to continue recouping our losses, but deep down, we lack confidence. At such times, we must follow our hearts, obey our true selves, stop betting, and make a clean break. If we truly reach a point where we'd rather lose an arm than place another bet, we have achieved self-transcendence. After establishing this solid mindset, gambling can truly become a source of light entertainment.
