2021 was a challenging period for me.

An eight-year relationship ended due to the pandemic, making that time the most difficult for me. She was in Hong Kong, and I was abroad, so we couldn't meet. The pandemic also jeopardized the business I had just started, making that period very frustrating and disheartening.

I had to tirelessly find ways to make money, but our relationship couldn't withstand the challenges of a long-distance situation. When she needed me, I wasn't there. How I wished I could be by her side.

So, when she suggested parting ways, I agreed. My hope was for her to find someone to accompany her. If you can't hold on, then let go.

In the days ahead, I can only take things one day at a time, as there's no need to spend money unnecessarily. Fortunately, today's outcome is a victory. I hope every day can be like this.
