In the world of gambling, the time spent is neither short nor long. Often, I find myself asking how long I want to continue playing. In the past, I might have said I'll stop after playing for another year! But in reality, gambling is a one-way street, much like my wife's online shopping addiction! Once you learn, there's no turning back on the first day. It's just about playing a little less, buying a little less.

Can you resist the temptation when you see good promotions and discounts? You can't resist these temptations at all.

Honestly, regardless of the type of gambling game, they all have the nature of gambling, which means my expectations will only grow. I hope to gain the maximum benefits in the game, losers hope to recover losses, and winners hope to win more. This often leads players to desire quick success and immediate gains, making them prone to losing rationality and making incorrect judgments. Winning or losing can easily push people towards a dangerous path.

The me in gambling is completely different from the me in the real world. I never understand why I am so weak. Gambling is a temptation, and few can resist its allure. To varying degrees, everyone wants to participate, but some people cannot manage the scale well or adjust their mindset, turning entertainment into a disaster.

My journey in playing real baccarat is always full of thorns. I can say I am weak; every time I place a bet, I am afraid of losing and give up one opportunity after another, letting go of all the good things as if they were in vain. Winning opportunities seem like they will never come back. Sometimes, I question myself, feeling like I don't really understand who I am, as if experiencing a split personality every time.

It has changed my outlook on life and values, leading to a sharp decline in family life, and even pushing me towards a criminal path, becoming a menace to society. (Here, I remind everyone that participating in gambling games requires adjusting your mindset and maintaining a clear head; otherwise, things can easily go wrong.)

Online shopping can be controlled to avoid spending money, but the same may not be true for online gambling; one might not resist impulsivity after losing.

Indeed, gambling and online shopping are truly addictive, and the effects are quite similar.

All that has gone before is a prologue; life is also an irreversible path.

In fact, things cannot be generalized.

But online shopping might make you "chop off" your hand , while gambling might make you feel like chopping off your head.

I think they are different. For online shopping, it's because you have money; without money, what would you even shop for?
