Football hooligans are everywhere, but it's utterly excessive when they resort to attacking the opposing team's bus, leading to surgical procedures for their victims. Yesterday, before the Lyon vs. Marseille match, Lyon, the visiting team, was attacked by local Marseille extremists. The Lyon head coach was severely injured, and the match was ultimately postponed.

This attack occurred before the 10th round of Ligue 1, where Marseille was hosting Lyon. Lyon, as the away team, was on their bus en route to the stadium. After the incident, Marseille's official statement condemned the extremist fans, stating that they should not bring violence into football and that their actions harmed 60,000 people. Marseille pledged full cooperation with the police and Ligue 1 organizers to promptly reschedule the match, and they expressed their hope and best wishes for a swift recovery for the victims, led by Grösso. Prior to this attack, Marseille had a history of football hooliganism, so they might face severe consequences in the aftermath.
