October 17th News: Trail Blazers player Deandre Ayton gave an interview regarding the topic of being traded by the Suns.

"The Suns didn't just dispose of me randomly. They sent me to the Trail Blazers, where I have what I want," Deandre Ayton stated in the interview.

"The Suns sent me to a team where all my teammates are close to my age. This is a fresh start, and I have to learn a new style of basketball."

"I thought the Suns would send me to a terrible place, and my situation would have been much worse."

"So, you know what I mean? I'm really glad to be a part of the Trail Blazers."

When asked about the well wishes from Suns player Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton said, "I also wish him all the best."

"It means a lot to hear him say that."

In today's game, where the Trail Blazers lost 106-117 to the Suns, Booker played 18 minutes and scored 19 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, making 6 of 11 field goals.

The Trail Blazers currently have three guards who play with an attacking style, including Henderson. These types of guards might not be the best fit to complement Ayton. In fact, Ayton's ideal destination should probably be the Pacers, Hornets, or even the Pistons.
