"Avvy Domains is a decentralized domain protocol within the Avalanche ecosystem, officially launched at the end of May 2022. It supports the entire Avalanche ecosystem, including its subnets. Similar to ENS (Ethereum Name Service), registration fees for Avvy Domains are calculated based on the length of characters and the duration. The registration fee for 3-character domains is $640/year, 4-character domains are $160/year, and 5 characters or more cost $5/year. As of now, the total registered domains are approximately 8,600.
Avvy Domains comply with the ERC-721 standard and can be traded on three NFT marketplaces, with the majority of trading activity happening on the Joepegs platform.
