Sports betting is indeed a billion-dollar-revenue earning industry. But the negative aspects associated with the industry are far more spine-chilling than just saying it's bad. Indeed, as with all gambling events where there is an involvement of real money, sports betting too has a similar risk of losing it all. There are people all around the world, at the receiving end of their lives after they have spent over a fortune in sports betting. Therefore, I say the concept is dangerous for society in all senses.

Yes. Sports betting is an exciting event and offers lucrative cash rewards for different segments and markets. Nevertheless, there is a big problem of a common person turning into an addict if he/ she wins one or two matches. The adrenaline rush and greed after winning some cash could have adverse effects.
