In high school, I bought a book that I found difficult to understand and somewhat uninteresting in the first few chapters, so I left it on my bookshelf. These days, I stumbled upon it and thought about giving it another try. I still found it as uninteresting as before, but I persisted and managed to finish it. It's a book titled "We Are All Lonely Travelers," and I thought I'd share my thoughts after reading it.
What is the most important difference between people?
It's not material wealth but their inner spirit. It's this inner spirit that distinguishes people as either great or insignificant, excellent or mediocre. Perhaps with age, I now find myself better able to relate to what I once found difficult to understand. On the journey of gambling, we are all solitary adventurers. Although it can be a lonely path, winning at gambling brings us happiness.
The book delves into philosophy and offers different perspectives on human nature and the various levels of the human spirit. I'm glad I didn't abandon this book, as it turned out to be a treasure trove.
Everyone has their own unique perspective on things, but personally, I believe this book is worthwhile. After reading it, you might discover unexpected insights. As the saying goes, "In books, there is a golden house. Every good book is a storehouse of knowledge, waiting for us to slowly absorb."
We are all travelers on this journey of life, and whether we feel lonely or not is something we define for ourselves. |
