Perhaps some people may wonder why I love watching football so much. Actually, I can't really pinpoint any particular reason. In the past, during my craze for football, I used to watch every match, even in the middle of the night. Many people know that I'm a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, and back when he was playing for Real Madrid, their matches were often in the middle of the night. So, I used to get up without fail to watch every game. During the peak of my football obsession, I even watched matches involving Real Madrid's rivals like Barcelona or Atletico Madrid, as well as Real Madrid's opponents in the Champions League. Looking back, I think I was quite crazy.

Perhaps it's the habits I developed during those years. Even now, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and, if there's a game on, I'll just go watch it. However, it's true that national team matches aren't as entertaining as club matches. After all, national teams spend less time together, and their coordination isn't as smooth as that of club teams. So, I tend to fall asleep on the living room couch while watching national team matches and wake up to find that the game is already over.

I'm not trying to claim any superiority between club and national team matches. From a betting perspective, club matches are indeed easier to predict because national teams often have fluctuating form. Some countries have a surplus of talent, and during international matches, coaches might experiment with unconventional lineups to assess players. This makes it more challenging to place bets during national team games. So, except for major tournaments like the World Cup and the European Championship, international matches don't excite me as much.

But perhaps this is just my bias. I started watching football during the era of Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo, so I naturally have a preference for club matches. Thus, every summer during the break and international matches is the least enjoyable time for me. During those periods, I can only hope for time to pass quickly and eagerly await the start of a new season.

Wherever there's bias, it's all about your own habits of watching and judging. Right or wrong is entirely judged by the results.

I'm exactly the opposite of you. I started watching from the national team – the Portugal team – back then, with players like Nuno Gomes, Figo, Rui Costa, Deco, Maniche, Simão, and many more.

I'm getting old, and I hardly watch any games anymore except for the early ones.

Absolutely! People who love watching football often set alarms to wake up and watch games. I can't quite understand it either – waking up from a deep sleep to watch ten people chase a ball. But I have to admit, sometimes it can be quite thrilling to watch an exciting team in action.

You're absolutely right! Habits are formed gradually, often without us even realizing it. Changing a habit can indeed be challenging. When it comes to watching football, it's all about enjoying the game without getting too emotionally invested.

National team matches can sometimes be more exciting than club league games.
