In recent years, Brazil, the football kingdom, has witnessed a surge of talent, with players like Vinicius, Rodrygo, Martinelli, and the younger forward Endrick showcasing their skills at their respective clubs. However, not all talents enjoy smooth sailing. Take the case of Roque, a Brazilian talent who, despite a high-priced transfer to Barcelona, has struggled to integrate into the team. In fact, Roque even reached a point of despair, shedding tears over his situation.

At 19 years old, Roque was once touted as one of Brazil's two great prodigies alongside Endrick. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona were keen on them, with Endrick joining Real Madrid and Roque making a €61 million move to Barcelona. Given Barcelona's current financial difficulties, the high expectations placed on Roque by the club are evident in this hefty price tag.

However, Roque's stint at Barcelona has been far from ideal. Since joining at the beginning of the year, he has only amassed 310 minutes of playing time, much to his discontent. For a player in his developmental stage, more game time is crucial for progress. Recent reports from Spanish media outlet 'El Mundo Deportivo' suggest Roque's frustration with the lack of opportunities and rumors of the club considering giving up on him. Those close to him even reveal a lack of communication with coach Xavi, making it difficult for Roque to understand and meet the coach's expectations.

In response, Barcelona's coaching staff vehemently denies these claims, labeling them as baseless rumors. They emphasize their commitment to Roque's development, providing extensive guidance and encouragement both on and off the field. Nevertheless, Roque's limited playing time highlights the challenges even talented players face in their careers.

Indeed, such a situation is worrisome, but Roque is still young and has a promising future ahead. Looking forward to him finding his own place at Barcelona!

Barcelona spent €61 million on Roque, but he only played for 310 minutes. It shows Barcelona's financial strength, but they're actually strapped for cash. So why spend big on a player the coach doesn't use? Usually, Barcelona relies on La Masia for talent, like Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, and Puyol. This season, Yamal's been impressive and solidified his place, younger than Roque. It's unclear why they bought Roque when they have Yamal. Roque needs to seize every opportunity to prove himself, otherwise, he won't secure a spot in the front three. If he doesn't perform, Barcelona's huge investment will be wasted.

Roque's playing time doesn't match his value at all, hopefully, Xavi can make better use of talent.

At Barcelona, it's the same old story when it comes to buying players: if they prove effective, they get utilized, if not, they're benched and given another chance later. If they still don't perform, they're simply sold off at a low price.

Barcelona's shrewd maneuvers are not limited to just these. I don't want to mention those old things anymore. Now they bring in the Brazilian genius Roque, but he's only been given 13 appearances in 4 months, totaling just 310 minutes of playing time. Of course, some people might say that a 19-year-old young player should sit on the bench and learn from other players, but what is there for those players on the field to learn? None of them have the talent that Roque possesses, except maybe Gavi has some potential. Since they brought Róger in, they should make good use of him. Instead of letting him sit on the bench, it would be better to loan him out to another team to gain experience and also generate some income for the club. Barcelona already owes a lot of debt, so not thinking about recouping funds and keeping potential players on the bench is not conducive to increasing transfer fees in the future. The urgent task now is to plug the hole left by Messi as much as possible. It's a pity that in the four months since Roque joined the team, he hasn't even had a chance to play in a Champions League knockout match. This is a huge psychological blow for a 19-year-old. Every player has the desire to represent their country on the field, and the Copa America is about to start. Brazil's squad includes Rafinha but not Roque, not because he lacks ability, but because he hasn't had enough playing time to catch the national team coach's eye. How tragic is this!
