Manchester United castoff Sancho shines on the Champions League stage, outshining even the world's top three players like Mbappé. But with Sancho's outstanding performance comes a new question: if Sancho is so talented, why can't Manchester United utilize him properly? Could it be that Manchester United is truly a black hole for stars?

I've previously discussed the saga between Sancho and Manchester United, so I won't delve into it again here. In short, Sancho struggled at United, and controversial comments from manager Ten Hag during a press conference fueled Sancho's dissatisfaction, ultimately leading to discord between player and coach, and Sancho's departure to Borussia Dortmund. It was thought that Sancho's career might have hit rock bottom after joining Dortmund, but his resurgence has been remarkable. He has successfully dribbled past opponents 12 times in the Champions League, becoming the only English player in Champions League history to achieve this feat in a single match.

Sancho's excellent performances have only cost Dortmund a loan fee of €4 million, while Manchester United spent €80 million to acquire him. Considering Sancho's struggles at United, this deal can be considered a significant loss for the club. Reflecting on Manchester United's transfer dealings in recent years, most signings, like Sancho, have been focused on acquiring star power, but many have failed to live up to expectations, further reinforcing the notion of Manchester United as a black hole for stars.

Will Sancho return to Manchester United? After the Champions League match, Sancho stated that he was unsure about his future at Dortmund, but he wants to help Dortmund win their first-ever Champions League title. As for others, such as Italian legend Del Piero, who praised Sancho on CBS, saying, "In matches of this caliber, if you have a player performing at the level of Sancho, then he should go to Manchester United."

As for whether Sancho will eventually return to Manchester United, let's wait and see!

Sancho probably wouldn't consider going back to Manchester United after his unhappy spell there, right?

Well, most football fans would agree that Sancho tends to dribble sideways rather than forwards, so his stats may be a bit inflated. However, it's undeniable that he's performed better at Dortmund than at Manchester United. But exaggerating his abilities is another story....

It's simply a team lacking cohesion, no matter how talented the players are, they can't seem to perform at their best. The coach seems to be in his own world, and his personnel decisions are also questionable.

Perhaps this is just an accident. Of course, if he dares to fall out with Manchester United, it means he has quite strong abilities himself.

Firstly, Borussia Dortmund won the UEFA Champions League title in 1997, so it's not their first-ever Champions League victory in history. Secondly, Manchester United is really struggling right now. Just look at the performances of Casemiro and Varane, who excelled at Real Madrid but have struggled since joining Manchester United. The team has been in disarray since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, reaching new lows in recent years. The club's owners, the Glazers, are focused on making money, while the current manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, seems intent on favoring his own trusted players. Regardless, Sancho's individual skills surpass those of Martial by a long shot, but because Martial is Solskjaer's protege, Sancho doesn't get a chance. Sancho has proven himself to be a talented player, consistently delivering outstanding performances since joining Borussia Dortmund. Admittedly, the playing styles and intensity of the Bundesliga and the Premier League differ. However, for a player like Sancho, who consistently shines and even performs well in Champions League semi-finals, it's puzzling that he can't even get a chance to play in the Premier League with Manchester United. The fact is that at Manchester United, Sancho has no opportunities and poses no threat. Therefore, for young players looking to transfer to a more promising club, it's essential to consider the club's management and planning. If the club is as chaotic as Manchester United, it's better to steer clear, as they won't become the savior of the team but rather risk being undervalued and wasted.

Everyone can take a look at what Manchester United has been saying to its players in the last decade, and then they'll understand how the club has repeatedly disappointed its fans. Even after Sir Alex Ferguson handed over the team, Manchester United welcomed two very good top-level coaches, David Moyes and Jose Mourinho. At that time, Manchester United's management didn't give Moyes enough time to build the team. Moyes wanted some top-tier players to be the backbone of the team, but he didn't get the approval of the higher-ups at Manchester United. Consequently, Moyes left after a short stint at the club. Then came the legendary coach Mourinho. Everyone knows Mourinho's capabilities. Back in his Porto days, he won the league and the Champions League. Later at Chelsea, he led them to league titles. After that, he went to Inter Milan, won the historic treble, and then came to Real Madrid, turning them into a dominant force with 4 out of 5 league titles. Despite such a distinguished coaching career, Mourinho was also kicked out by Manchester United, just like Pang Tong joining Liu Bei without being trusted and then being ousted. So, Manchester United is not only a black hole for players but also for championship-winning coaches. A third-rate team like this doesn't deserve any superstars. This Manchester United, driven solely by money, can just wait to self-destruct.
