De Rossi: "Alonso was a gentleman during his playing career. They may want revenge."
AS Roma's coach, De Rossi, talked about Bayer Leverkusen, their opponent in the Europa League semi-finals, saying: "We are going to face a team that has been unbeaten for 44 consecutive matches this season. They seem a bit unbeatable, but we will give them trouble."
When De Rossi learned that the Bayer Leverkusen coaching staff celebrated the draw against Roma in the dressing room, he added: "I didn't see the footage you mentioned. Alonso (Bayer Leverkusen's coach) was very gentlemanly during his playing career, and he will respect his opponents. Their celebration might be to seek revenge for last season's loss to Roma." |
