March 31st, News: Recently, NBA legend Kevin Garnett talked about the Spurs on the podcast "All The Smoke" and praised the excellent performance of Wembanyama.
Garnett said: "Wembanyama is insane. Do you remember when Curry first started shooting those extremely deep three-pointers, how shocked everyone was? Wembanyama has created new possibilities and unprecedented influence for the center position. Wembanyama is like a center version of Kevin Durant. He's even in his weakest version now, he hasn't even figured out what he's learned in the game yet."
"When he truly starts to think about the game, starts to understand the game, he will become smarter and better able to utilize his body. He has already proven that he can accept coaching in an environment full of praise and accolades. Moreover, he is very humble and has a strong desire to learn. He will definitely get stronger in the future."
Wembanyama is averaging 21 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 3.4 blocks per game this season.
