Many friends encounter a frustrating issue when playing poker: it's not about bad starting hands or missing the flop, but facing a particularly vexing opponent type — the clueless aggressor.

My understanding of the clueless aggressor is that they don't consider win-loss ratios, ignore opponents' hand strengths, and bet erratically. They'll stick around to the end with any pair, draw to a flush or straight, and often get lucky on the river, leaving you gnashing your teeth in frustration. Yet, there's little you can do!

These players are rampant in low-stakes cash games. Even one at a table can escalate tensions. They exhibit typical behaviors:

1. They call any raise or bet, regardless of size. If they hit their hand, they'll stick around to the end, waiting for the turn or river to bail them out. If not, they might still bet big, scaring others away. They largely disregard skilled play.

2. They often call raises with inappropriate hands from poor positions, inflating the pot. This prompts others to join in, hoping to capitalize on easy winnings, resulting in a vicious cycle of escalating bets.

Encountering a clueless aggressor, patience is key. Wait for a strong hand and let them hang themselves. Trying to outplay luck is futile, especially when facing off against the entire table due to their presence.

This is also a good way to deal with it, right?
