March 31st News: Recently, Celtics legend Paul Pierce spoke about the Rockets and praised Jaylen Green's recent excellent performances on the podcast "All The Smoke."
Pierce said: "Jaylen Green now looks like a franchise cornerstone, he looks like a young McGrady. However, the Rockets have to make a choice. Among young players like Jaylen Green, Shengjing, and Jabari Smith, who do you choose to keep? You have to re-sign Jaylen Green, but then you have to choose between Shengjing and Jabari. You can only keep two of them."
Jaylen Green is averaging 20 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game this season, playing an average of 31.7 minutes.
Shengjing is averaging 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season, playing an average of 32.5 minutes.
