The Solana network continues to improve and upgrade, with initiatives such as QUIC, stake-weighted QoS, and localized fee markets aimed at addressing specific pressure points, slowdowns, and interruptions during periods of high activity and demand.

Simultaneously, developers are continuing to test and develop other network upgrades and measures, including increasing the maximum transaction size (currently limited to 1232 bytes) and simplifying voting logic to reduce the overall amount of data that needs to be transmitted and stored.

Additionally, the project team has released Solana Labs validator client versions 1.16 and 1.17. Version 1.16 was successfully launched in September 2023, while version 1.17 was released on January 15, 2024. These versions include new features, performance updates, and changes aimed at improving network resilience.

In the future, the Solana team will also introduce:

- Timely Voting Scores: This is a protocol change and governance measure primarily executed by validators. This change penalizes validators for late block voting, incentivizing quick voting and improving the health of the consensus.
- SFDP Changes: SFDP (Solana Foundation's Delegation Program) provides validators with support for self-sufficiency and sustainable development, with its broader goal being to maximize decentralization, network resilience, and network performance.

Apart from these internal reasons, many external institutions are also bullish on Solana and are choosing to collaborate with it, such as OKX, Shopify, and investment firms, among others.

In summary, it must be said that Solana seems to be following the path Ethereum once walked, with its ups and downs followed by resurgences. The resurgence of Solana has reignited investors' high hopes for this "Ethereum killer," ultimately due to Solana's deep-rooted efforts and its inherent advantages.

From this perspective, it can be seen that value investing may still be viable in the cryptocurrency sphere. However, for ordinary investors, the rise in SOL prices is just surface-level; what truly matters is the core driving force behind Solana.
