Lillard, who switched from the Trail Blazers to the Bucks this season, teamed up with the Greek Freak, gradually finding their most comfortable way of playing together after the All-Star Game, forming a duo where "1 + 1 > 2".
Giannis Antetokounmpo said, "It's part of the training, allowing both Lillard and me to play to our strengths. Throughout the season, we've been adjusting and discussing with each other, and now we feel very comfortable."
In the fourth quarter of this game, Antetokounmpo and Lillard showed amazing strength, contributing with scoring or assists consecutively to help the team score 31 points in a row, becoming the key to victory.
Lillard admitted, "We encountered some obstacles at the beginning, as many people expected us to cooperate seamlessly from the start. But when two leaders, two main players are placed on the same team, it does require getting familiar with and adapting to each other. Now, we are at our best, and we will continue to improve." |
